Main Stage speakers will include Richard Seiersen, Snehal Antani, Bailey Bickley, Aarti Borkar, Andrew Rapp, Simeon Kakpovi, Sherrod DeGrippo, and Tony Paterra. Speakers will present on Wednesday, August 6 and Thursday, August 7, and all Main Stage presentations will be located at Oceanside A, Level 2 within the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

Black Hat USA 2025 Main Stage Lineup:

  • Wednesday, August 6 at 12:50 PM – Proof, Not Promises: Redefining Cybersecurity for the Defense Industrial Base

This talk will be presented by Snehal Antani, CEO & Co-Founder of Horizon3.ai; and Bailey Bickley, Chief of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Defense at the NSA Cybersecurity Collaboration Center. Antani and Bickley will present a strategic look at how the NSA and private sector are partnering to secure the defense supply chain, drawing from real-world operations across the DIB to reveal example critical vulnerabilities that once put the DIB at risk, attack paths enabled by misconfigurations, the operational impact of shifting from reactive defense to continuous validation, and more.

  • Thursday, August 7 at 12:15 PM – Unmasking Cyber Villains: How Microsoft Stays Ahead of the World's Most Dangerous Hackers

This talk will be presented by Aarti Borkar, Corporate Vice President of Security Customer Success at Microsoft; Andrew Rapp, Senior Director of Security Research at Microsoft; Simeon Kakpovi, Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst at Microsoft; and Sherrod DeGrippo, Director of Threat Intelligence Strategy at Microsoft. This presentation will go behind the scenes with Microsoft's threat intelligence, incident response, and threat hunting leaders to share how these functions operate as a unified force, creating a real-time feedback loop that enables Microsoft to detect, disrupt, and outpace sophisticated actors like Star Blizzard and Mint Sandstorm.

  • Thursday, August 7 at 12:50 PM – Beyond the Limits: Transforming the SOC to Tackle Modern Challenges

This talk will be presented by Tony Paterra, Vice President of Product Management for Security Products at Splunk, a Cisco company. Paterra will explore the systemic limitations holding Security Operations Centers (SOCs) back, discuss why existing approaches fall short, and share a forward-looking vision for the future of security operations—one that empowers teams to act on data wherever it resides, simplifies workflows across every SOC role, scales to meet evolving challenges, and more.

In addition to the Main Stage programming, the event will also feature a full Keynote lineup, over 100 Briefings hand selected by the Black Hat Review Board, over 100 Trainings, a full day of Summits, over 120 Sponsored Sessions, and over 115 Arsenal tool demos.
