Delaforce brings more than three decades of applied pool design and construction experience to his role at Bella Pools by Design. His career began in his teenage years, when he worked summers alongside his father building gunite pools and landscapes. Starting full-time as an apprentice in 1992, he learned traditional construction methods through hands-on, on-site work, becoming involved in every stage of the pool construction process. 

Elevating Large-Scale Pool Projects with Technical Expertise

Before joining Bella Pools by Design, Delaforce spent several years building large commercial pools and aquatic centers throughout the Southeast and northern Virginia. At the same time, his background in music and audio recording technology sharpened his understanding of digital systems and spatial sequencing. This led to his early adoption of CAD and 3D design tools, long before they became pool industry standards. 

Today, that technical foundation informs his role as a gunite pool builder in Raleigh, where he designs complex outdoor environments. Using detailed 3D concepts, he translates ambitious ideas into clear, buildable plans for high-end, large-scale pool projects.

Since joining Bella Pools by Design in 2010, Delaforce has helped define the company’s design-driven approach, contributing to hundreds of custom projects ranging from luxury residential pools in Raleigh and complex mountain builds in Elkin to nationally featured work on Pool Kings.
