Output Factory automates printing and exporting from InDesign to PDF, HTML, and other formats. The app offers batch processing, layer versioning, variable file names, and other time-saving controls. The new version adds support for the recently released InDesign 2026 and features an updated icon to avoid the default icon disfigurement applied by macOS Tahoe.

Toronto, ON, Canada - October 30, 2025 - Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of Output Factory 3.1.3, a compatibility update to company's output automation tool for Adobe InDesign. Rated 5-star by InDesign Magazine, Output Factory simplifies workflows of prepress houses, publishers, ad agencies, and printers worldwide. The software helps eradicate repetitive tasks and minimizes errors through streamlined batch processing and time-saving output controls.

The new version adds support for the recently released InDesign 2026 offered as part of Adobe Creative Cloud. In addition, the update features an updated icon to avoid the default icon disfigurement applied by recently released macOS 26 Tahoe. The new release also ensures that the "Don't clear queue if errors occurred" preference is now honored.

"Output Factory has been the single biggest time-saver I've encountered in ten years of print production," says Mike Agate, Head of Production of Which?, Europe's largest consumer rights organization. "With the reduction in head count and efficiency savings, it must have paid for itself 500 times over."

Output Factory empowers InDesign users to achieve more efficient workflows with pre-defined actions, leading to reduced work hours, enhanced productivity, as well as the solution of a multitude of production problems.

Key features and advantages include:

-Batch output of InDesign files to PDF, TIFF, EPUB and other formats

-Export every n pages as a single PDF file

-Variable output file names

-Run custom AppleScript and JavaScript scripts

-Output files to multiple formats with one click

-Layer versioning: output layer combinations as single files

-Eliminate errors with auto-preflighting

-Create PDF security presets

Pricing and Availability:

Output Factory can be purchased from Zevrix website for US$169.95 (Lite version $99.95), as well as from authorized resellers and Adobe Exchange. Trial is also available for download. The update is free for the users of Output Factory 3.x, and $84.97 to upgrade from Output Factory earlier versions. Output Factory requires macOS 10.12-26.x and Adobe InDesign CS6-2026.
