WASHINGTON D.C. - October 30, 2025 - Following on this week's landmark partnership announcement between NVIDIA and Nokia to pioneer AI-native 6G networks, Physical AI infrastructure software developer Terbine today unveiled the roadmap for its network-based platform called STRATA. The platform is intended to become the distributed intelligent orchestration layer through which robots, drones, autonomous vehicles and other connected AI-enabled machines will interact with each other, humans and the environments that they’re operating within, on a massive scale.

Terbine’s STRATA platform roadmap combines the principles of hyperscale computing and wide area telecommunications to deploy AI computing resources directly throughout wireless networks. For data discovery, STRATA provides a rich metadata layer based on the assumption that the “user” is an AI.

STRATA is purpose-built for Physical AI, capable of ingesting and processing complex, real-world data—including time-series streams, audio, video, sensor and RF sources. By utilizing Terbine-developed contextual metadata, STRATA enables the production of specialized Large Language Models (LLMs) for physical systems.
