By: Get News
Zevrix Solutions announces the release of Output Factory 3.2.1, a bugfix update to company's output automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Output Factory automates printing and exporting from InDesign to PDF, HTML, and other formats. The app offers batch processing, layer versioning, variable file names, and other time-saving controls. This update fixes an issue where output files were overwritten under certain conditions even when the "overwrite duplicates" option was disabled.

Toronto, ON, Canada - April 7, 2026 - Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of Output Factory 3.2.1, a feature update to company's output automation powerhouse for Adobe InDesign. Rated 5-star by InDesign Magazine, Output Factory simplifies workflows of publishers, prepress houses, printers, and ad agencies worldwide. The software helps eliminate repetitive tasks and minimizes errors through time-saving output controls and streamlined batch processing.

This update fixes an issue where certain output files were overwritten even when the "overwrite duplicates" option was disabled. The problem occurred with unified outputs such export as single PDF file, HTML, and EPUB. The new version correctly appends a serial number instead of overwriting files with the same name.

"I want to say how valuable and useful Output Factory has been for our company," says Ed Saye, studio manager at Blue Sky Agency in Atlanta, Georgia. "The folks that use it are delighted to have a way to automate so much repetitive work in a consistent and organized way."

Output Factory offers the following key features and advantages for graphics professionals:

-Batch output of InDesign files to PDF, TIFF, PNG, and other formats

-Export every n pages as a single PDF file

-Run custom AppleScript and JavaScript scripts

-Variable output file names

-Output files to multiple formats with one click

-Layer versioning: output layer combinations as single files

-Eliminate errors via auto-preflighting

-PDF security presets (otherwise unavailable in InDesign)

Pricing and Availability:

Output Factory can be purchased from the Zevrix website for US$169.95 (Lite version $99.95), as well as from authorized resellers and Adobe Exchange. Trial is also available for download. The upgrade is $85 for the users of Output Factory 2 (Lite version $50). Output Factory requires macOS 10.12-26.x and Adobe InDesign CS6-2026.
