San Diego, CA (October 10, 2022) – Craig Jones, Billy Crafton, and Jiu Jitsu fighters from around the world compete at AIGA Champions League event.
On a midsummer’s day in Kazakhstan, the AIGA Champions League showcased some of the best Jiu Jitsu competitors around the world for the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu vs. Pitbull. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu champion Craig Jones highlighted the event, while Billy Crafton and Seth Belisle rounded out the rest of the USA lineup.
The top card featured the legendary Black Belt, Craig Jones (USA), vs. Eldar Sayidov (Russia), in the very unusual situation of Craig coming off two straight losses, while Eldar won 8 of his last 9 matches, picking up two Golds and one Silver in his last three competitions.
Billy Crafton (USA) squared up versus Abil Karimkhanov (Kazakhstan). Billy is well known as a championship winning black belt contender, while Abil entered the match ranked 8th in Asia in his class.
Seth Belisle (USA) competed against Aidar Tuleibaev (Kazakhstan) in the 70 kg class, rounding out the USA representation at the epic international event.
