The updated inventory now includes the 3M-Matic™ Case Sealer 8000af With 3M™ AccuGlide™ 3 Taping Head. While it is manually adjustable, this advanced machine automatically folds down the top flaps of boxes for sealing, forgoing the need for an operator once the device has been activated.
The machine can be manually adjusted to match the size of the package being sealed. All cases are stabilized on either side via traction-grip belts powered by a twin-gear motor.
“The side belt drives can be set to a higher position to provide stability for taller boxes. The dual masts and dual crossbars provide taping head stability for the 3M™AccuGlide™ 3 Taping Heads, which offer low impact sealing to protect cases,” a spokesperson explains.
The machine is designed to be used with Scotch® Box Sealing Tape models 355, 371, 373, 375, 3071, 3072, and 3073. "The 3M™ AccuGlide™ 3 Taping Head applies Scotch® pressure-sensitive film box sealing tape at the leading end of the box, continuing along the center seam to the trailing end,” the spokesperson adds. “The taping head cuts the tape as it is being applied. After the box is securely sealed, it exits the case sealer.”
