- In what could only be described as an ongoing debate surrounding Japanese identity and nationality, three foreign-born residents in Japan are currently suing the country’s government over alleged racial profiling. The plaintiffs filed the lawsuit in the Tokyo National Court and alleges that they were questioned by the police on basis of their race.
