According to the company’s regulatory consultants, an additional clinical trial (phase 3) may be required to obtain CMA approval, and such a trial has been designed. ATNF’s regulatory consultants believe obtaining of a CMA may be possible due to the long safety history of anti-tumor necrosis factor (“TNF”) therapies, conditional on a successful phase 3 trial, which, upon patient enrollment, the CMA may be granted prior to completion and based on the company’s commitment to complete the phase 3 trial.
