The trade show company continues to flourish after a successful year of revenue growth and internal promotions.

Steelhead Productions, a premier provider of event exhibit and marketing services, is excited to announce a total of 15 key team promotions in 2022. As the company continues to evolve and expand its client base, it is equally focused on nourishing internal growth. Steelhead also continues to celebrate its naturally occurring diversity, with 40% of those being promoted identifying as women, and 80% identifying as being from an ethnic or racial minority. 

Rhiannon Andersen, Chief Marketing Officer and co-owner of Steelhead explains how important it is to hire and promote in accordance with company values, especially during times of economic uncertainty. “There’s a level of determination and commitment to both what we do and how we do it. That’s the secret sauce that has kept us afloat, and even thriving, despite all of the challenges we’ve endured over the last 20 years. First, we need to make sure Steelheaders are happy and want to stay working in our organization. Then, we have a system that provides opportunities for individuals who’ve become super proficient, so that they can grow from within. It truly takes both the company leaders and our employees to create this win-win symbiotic dynamic.”

Justin Jackson, who has been with the company for seven years, was elevated to Senior Graphic Project Manager. “This promotion means that all eyes are on me regarding the success of the department. We now have a team to lead, and I’m excited to see what kind of progress we will be able to make soon. My favorite part about being a Steelheader is knowing that every one of my colleagues cares about being the best versions of themselves.” 

Another significant elevation on the Steelhead team is Andrew Childers, who was promoted to Business Development Director. “In addition to being extremely grateful to step into a leadership role, being promoted to Business Development Director is something of a full-circle moment for me. I grew up in an era where being gay could easily cost you your family and career. In many states, it was legal to fire someone for being gay up until a Supreme Court ruling in 2020. I’m proud that Steelhead Productions recognizes, promotes, and rewards people based on their contribution to our shared success – and our diversity is one of our greatest and most celebrated strengths!”

Nohely Velez, who has been with the company for over one year, has recently been promoted to Asset Manager. “This promotion validates all the hard work I’ve put into the organization, and I’m motivated to take on the challenge of finding new and efficient ways of keeping track of our inventory. As a Steelheader, I’m part of an ecosystem and a team that will go through anything to ensure no one in that ecosystem fails.”
