Melanie Shiraz, recently crowned Miss Israel 2025, is a university-educated STEM advocate, articulate speaker, and passionate supporter of initiatives that build bridges between Israel and local communities. She will join Florida Stands with Israel for a meeting focused on the plate's statewide rollout, its visibility as a symbol of support, and how Floridians can easily obtain it.
Joining Melanie will be a senior representative from Hatzalah South Florida Emergency Medical Services (HSFEMS)—a respected, volunteer-based EMS organization known for its swift, life-saving emergency response capabilities. Since 2010, HSFEMS has responded to over 25,000 emergency calls. The organization is rooted in the belief that saving a life is equivalent to saving the world.
A portion of the proceeds from the Florida Stands with Israel (FSWI) specialty plate benefits Hatzalah South Florida (HSFEMS.org) to support its 350+ volunteer paramedics and EMTs in their mission to slash response times and increase survival rates in medical emergencies.
Signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis, the FSWI plate is available now in all 67 Florida counties.
