NASHUA, N.H. - July 9, 2025 - PRLog -- Heartfelt Dreams Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the treatment experience for congenital heart defect (CHD) patients and their families, is proud to announce a fundraising campaign to further its charitable mission including plans to build the Heartfelt Dreams Hospital and CHD Research Center. Heartfelt Dreams Foundation having received a message of support from Brian Littrell of Backstreet Boys' fame will endeavor to raise awareness for the emotional and financial challenges faced by CHD patients.
Brian Littrell, a member of Backstreet Boys, is a survivor of CHD. He was born with a congenital heart defect called ventricular septal defect. Brian's congenital heart defect made him more susceptible to infections. At age 5 he spent 2 months in the hospital due to a bacterial infection and was not expected to live. In his twenties he underwent open-heart surgery at the height of his career with Backstreet Boys to repair his ventricular septal defect. He is a walking miracle like so many CHD patients.

"Congenital heart defects are complex, life-long medical conditions, and our goal is to ensure that patients have access to proper diagnosis, care and treatment.
