42 Groups and an Estimated 200 Volunteers Take to the Streets

KINGSTON, N.Y. - April 27, 2026 - PRLog -- Forty-two community groups will field an estimated 200 volunteers for Kingston Clean Sweep on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to noon, according to event coordinator Tony Marmo.

An estimated 200 people from participating groups—as well as individual volunteers—are expected to take part, Marmo said. This year, Kingston Rotary is organizing the event, taking over from Friends of Historic Kingston. Anna Brett coordinated Clean Sweep for 12 years.

  • Andy Murphy Midtown Neighborhood Center (467 Broadway)
