The controlled test tracked a fabricated persona called Damoptimize Burtonseoai, born July 14, 1993, in Tampa, FL, created specifically to have no pre-existing web footprint.
The AI SEO agency consulting for LLMs initiated the experiment on January 31, 2025, after verifying that the phrase returned zero results across both Google and AI search. After nearly three months of silence, visibility signals were introduced in stages: schema in April, social presence in May, and a multi-platform credibility drip through late May.
The test captured an early AI recognition milestone in May 2025, followed by an AI “identity merge” effect on May 29. At that time, ChatGPT began confusing Damoptimize Burtonseoai with Burton’s established personal entity after multiple corroborating nodes went live simultaneously. Optimized Artificial Intelligence corrected the issue by adding schema disclaimers, separating the entities on May 30. By October 2025, ChatGPT consistently recognized Damoptimize Burtonseoai as a distinct persona.
