Former Mayor William “Bill” Edwards to Launch Campaign & Citizens Listening Tour

After serving the public for over three decades, William “Bill” Edwards will officially announce his bid for Mayor of the City of South Fulton, GA, on Thursday, April 17th at The Enon Ranch. The City’s first Mayor will also launch details of his upcoming listening tour which provides citizens an opportunity to share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas about how best to move the County’s second largest city forward.
“Great leaders start dialogues with their ears and not their mouths,” said former Mayor Bill Edwards. “This South Fulton Listening Tour is about opening the door for candid conversations and gathering feedback that will help shape my campaign ideals, while also informing the decisions that matter most to our community.”
Edwards served as Fulton County Commissioner for 14 years and represented the area that is now the City of South Fulton. Voters convincingly selected Edwards as the inaugural Mayor of South Fulton in 2017. He will officially announce his candidacy during a birthday celebration hosted by friends of the campaign.
