Driving Successful Lives Sponsors Magical Fundraiser at White Lake Presbyterian Church

Driving Successful Lives continues to support outreach events like this to make a positive impact across Michigan and beyond

(PRUnderground) May 6th, 2025

Driving Successful Lives, a Michigan-based nonprofit organization, sponsored a memorable night of food, fun, and philanthropy on April 27 at White Lake Presbyterian Church. The evening featured a live performance by magician Doug Dern, drawing nearly 100 attendees for an event that combined family-friendly entertainment with community outreach.

The evening kicked off with a free taco bar dinner, followed by a dazzling magic show. Though admission was free, donations were encouraged, with all proceeds going to the Food For Friends food pantry and other local outreach programs hosted by the church.

“This event was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together for a good cause,” said Mark Maupin, Director of Driving Successful Lives. “The turnout, the laughter, and the generosity—everything made it a truly successful evening.”

Driving Successful Lives regularly supports events like this to promote compassion and community service.  Learn more at: https://drivingsuccessfullives.org/

About Driving Successful Lives

Driving Successful Lives’ mission is to help raise funds and improve the lives of veterans, homeless families, children, those with addictions while helping donors generate a tax deduction, often with property or vehicles they might no longer want.

Every time a person gives to the charity of their choice it may also create a tax benefit for them. Car donations, real estate donations or money donated to non-profit institutions throughout the tax year may be tax deductible which means that they could make a positive difference for people while reducing the amount of income taxes they pay. Contributing to charities can be a very convenient way to reduce taxes and help others.
