Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.

General Atlantic Announces 2024 Promotions

General Atlantic, a leading global growth investor, today announced the promotions of Wilson Bowen and Scott Levine to Managing Director; Srinivas Peddada to Operating Partner; Taylor Beyer, Oscar Engqvist, Josh Feldman, John LaDien, Christian Osterland, Jason Pitts, Ben Sherman, and Vinay Trivedi to Principal; and Kyndra Adair, Whitney Cacase, Emily Japlon, Jackie Solomon, and Chad Whipple to Senior Vice President. In addition, the firm has promoted Ben Coles, Mohit Daryanani, Allison Gould, Carole James, Annah Jamison, Kevin Karande, Spencer Knight, Donghoon Lee, Manoj Purohit, Jas Rajput, Nicolas Sambor, and Hector Silva to Vice President. The promotions will be effective as of January 1, 2025.

Promotions to Managing Director

Wilson Bowen is based in New York and focuses on investments across the firm's Climate strategy on the BeyondNetZero team. Before joining BeyondNetZero, Mr. Bowen was a Principal at Blackstone Growth, focused on technology investments. Prior to that, he worked at TPG and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Bowen received a MS in Bioengineering and a BS in Biomedical Engineering and Management Science from Stanford University.

Scott Levine is based in New York and focuses on the firm’s Capital Solutions efforts. Before joining General Atlantic in 2021, Mr. Levine was a Director in the Client & Product Solutions group at Apollo Global Management. Prior to that, he worked on the Institutional Client Business team at BlackRock, Inc. Mr. Levine received a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a CFA Charterholder.

Promotion to Operating Partner

Srinivas Peddada is based in Mumbai and provides strategic support and financial expertise to the firm’s investment teams and portfolio companies, with a focus on the India region. Mr. Peddada was previously Chief Information Officer at Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited and Chief Information Officer for Dun & Bradstreet in the South Asia, Middle East, and North Africa regions. He has also served as Chief Technology Officer at AIG and GE Money (India Region). Mr. Peddada received his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, his Master of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, and his Bachelor of Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

Promotions to Principal

Taylor J. Beyer is based in New York and focuses on investments across the firm’s Credit strategy and in the Atlantic Park fund. Before joining General Atlantic in 2023, Mr. Beyer was a Vice President at Iron Park Capital. Prior to that, he worked at The Carlyle Group in the U.S. Buyout Fund and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Leveraged Finance. Mr. Beyer received a BS in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Oscar Engqvist is based in London and leads the firm’s Capital Solutions efforts in Northern and Central Europe. Before joining General Atlantic in 2021, Mr. Engqvist was a Fundraising Manager at Livingbridge, where he co-led investor relations and was responsible for investor coverage in Northern and Central Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Mr. Engqvist received a BBA in Business Administration and Finance and MSc in Finance from the International University of Monaco.

Josh Feldman is based in San Francisco and focuses on investments in the firm's Technology sector. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2014, Mr. Feldman was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Feldman received a BA from UC Berkeley in Philosophy and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

John LaDien is based in New York and focuses on investments in the firm’s Healthcare sector. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2014, Mr. LaDien was an Analyst at Lazard in New York focusing on M&A. Mr. LaDien received a BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Christian Osterland is based in Munich and focuses on the firm’s investments in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland across all sectors. Before joining General Atlantic in 2015, Mr. Osterland was an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in London. Mr. Osterland received a BSc in Management and Technology and Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University, Munich.

Jason Pitts is based in San Francisco and focuses on investments in the firm's Life Sciences sector. Before joining General Atlantic in 2021, Mr. Pitts was a Principal at Sofinnova Investments focused on therapeutics investments. Prior to that, he was an Associate at McKinsey and Company. Mr. Pitts received a BS in Neurobiology from Cornell University and a PhD in Neuroscience from Rockefeller University.

Ben Sherman is based in New York and focuses on investments in the firm’s Consumer sector. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2014, Mr. Sherman was an Associate at Silver Lake, and an Investment Banking Analyst at Greenhill & Co. Mr. Sherman received an AB in Economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Vinay Trivedi is based in New York and focuses on investments across the firm's Climate strategy on the BeyondNetZero team, after previously investing with the firm's Technology sector. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2019, Mr. Trivedi was at The Blackstone Group on the Private Equity Investment Team. Mr. Trivedi was also a Product Manager at Citymapper, an urban mobility startup backed by Benchmark Capital and Index Ventures. He is the author of How to Speak Tech, a technology education book (2nd ed., 2019). Mr. Trivedi received an AB in Computer Science from Harvard College and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Promotions to Senior Vice President

Kyndra Adair is based in New York and is Funds Counsel at General Atlantic. Before joining General Atlantic in 2021, Ms. Adair served as Vice President, Legal & Compliance at BlackRock, Inc. and as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, in the Private Funds group. Ms. Adair earned her B.A. in Government from Patrick Henry College and her J.D. from Columbia Law School.

Whitney Cacase is based in New York and is responsible for the firm’s strategy and delivery of global Human Capital operations. Before joining General Atlantic in 2014, Ms. Cacase spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs where she held HR Business Partner roles in Private Wealth Management, Securities, Asset Management, and Investment Research divisions in New York and Asia Pacific between 2007 and 2012. Ms. Cacase received a BA in Communications and Psychology from Rutgers University.

Emily Liceoglu Japlon is based in New York and leads the firm’s investment communications and portfolio company communications counsel globally. Before joining General Atlantic in 2019, Ms. Japlon focused on financial communications and special situations at Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm. Prior to that, she held communications advisory roles at The Glover Park Group (now FGS Global). Ms. Japlon received a BA in English and International Relations from Tufts University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Jackie Solomon is based in New York and is the Global Head of Events on the firm’s Marketing and Communications team. Before joining General Atlantic in 2019, Ms. Solomon was Head of Events at Apollo Global Management. Prior to that, she was an Event Manager at Univision. Ms. Solomon was also Director of Events at Oppenheimer & Co, and an Event Coordinator at Morgan Stanley. Ms. Solomon received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Albany.

Chad Whipple is based in New York and focuses on the firm’s accounting and financial reporting. Before joining General Atlantic in 2022, Mr. Whipple was a Senior Vice President and Director of Corporate Reporting at PJT Partners. Prior to that, he held financial reporting roles at TPG and Blackstone and was a Senior Manager in the audit practice at KPMG. Mr. Whipple received a BSBA in Accounting from Drake University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
