“I am excited to welcome Christine to our executive leadership team,” said Thomas Scott, CEO of Wrike. “Christine has an extensive background and proven track record in leading global marketing strategies that transform and scale organizations. I am confident she will be a great strategic partner, advocate for our customers, and a fantastic mentor for Wrikers across the marketing team and beyond.”

Royston joins Wrike with over 20 years of B2B enterprise marketing experience. She most recently served as VP and Global Head of Marketing for Udemy’s business organization where she helped drive growth from $100M to 450M+ ARR, leading the team through critical initiatives such as an IPO, rebrand, and refocus of the company on B2B segments. Prior to her role at Udemy, Royston served as Vice President and Head of Marketing at Bitly. During her tenure, she transformed the marketing and communication teams and launched self-service SaaS plans that accelerated revenue growth. She has also held senior leadership roles at DropBox, Imperva and Salesforce.

“I am thrilled to be leading the marketing team at Wrike, especially during a time when many organizations are actively seeking ways to demonstrate impact and break down barriers to collaboration,” said Royston. “The future of work is dependent upon having more connected workflows, and I couldn’t be more excited to jumpstart Wrike’s next stage of growth and work alongside the leadership team to meet and exceed customer expectations.”

With 42% of business leaders facing concerns that their team or department will not be able to deliver on business outcomes due to lack of alignment, organizations are craving a simple solution to manage their sophisticated workflows. Welcoming new leadership to the marketing team will help Wrike continue on its mission to create a world where everyone is free to focus on their most impactful work together.
