This art contest is completely online and free to enter for artists 18 years old and up, offering a $100,000 USD grand prize award to be paid in Ethereum cryptocurrency.

EDU was officially formed in 2011 and is committed to empowering education. Hundreds of millions of adults around the world are illiterate, two thirds of which are women, despite educational advancements being made. EDU.int cultivates institutional partnerships, volunteerism, and philanthropic efforts to ensure the growth of sustainable projects in vulnerable developing companies while also working within government through lobbying for educational policies and promoting responsible learning institutions with teachers and coursework that are effective for learners.

The EDU.int Digital Art Contest 2024 aims to showcase the digital medium while representing the work of people around the world spanning borders, culture, race, gender, age, and religion. According to EDU, entries can include a single image or a collection of images. Entering the contest is completely free of cost and open to artists who are 18 years old or older at the time of their entry. Artwork must have been created within 3 months of the entry.

The winner will receive $100,000 USD, paid in Ethereum, and will get to meet the Secretary of EDU, with travel cost to Brussels covered by EDU. The winner must agree to be available for press interviews.

All entries must be made by March 15, 2024. Finalists will be announced on March 30, 2024, with winners being announced on April 14, 2024.
