This so-called “customer identity cloud” can be made to contain important data such as financial information and buyer habits, all unsiloed and accessible from the business’ side. However, storing this vital data in one place requires a high level of protection to prevent a potentially costly data breach, which is why Azure IAM has built this service on the Azure AD system.

Through their firm, Azure AD can be connected to Okta through a common security protocol. Some experts argue that, while Azure provides a full suite of high-quality security tools, it is not ideal for B2C applications.
