Virginian Author and Inventor Publishes Historical Fiction Adventure

By: PR Leap
(PRLeap.com) "One Fantastic Summer", a new book by Philip Poulos, has been released by RoseDog Books.

"One Fantastic Summer," is a thrilling historical fiction that will take readers on a high-flying journey filled with mystery, action, and friendship. The book introduces readers to a trio of adolescent boys in Southeast Virginia who stumble upon an extraordinary secret: the location of a real-life flying saucer, a relic of the Cold War. Their long-missing grandfather, secretly a key player in the original coverup, has been sending them coded clues to find the craft. With the help of their science teacher and a master inventor, the boys track down the saucer in an abandoned building, perfectly preserved and ready for flight.

What follows is an unforgettable summer of adventure. The boys take to the skies in their newly discovered Canadian VZ-9 flying disc, evading the law, skydiving, and even flying a phone booth. Their journey culminates in a heart-pounding showdown against the fury of a powerful Atlantic hurricane.

About the Author
Philip Poulos is a retired inventor living in Southeast Virginia. His own grandchildren inspired this story after a visit to a museum. He saw they inherited the "curiosity gene" and the desire to never stop learning. Many of his actual inventions are part of the story, including the Hoverboggan and the Flying Go-kart.

"One Fantastic Summer" is a 172-page paperback with a retail price of $45.00 (eBook $40.00). The ISBN is 979-8-89499-053-8. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. To buy the book, visit our online bookstore at https://rosedogbookstore.com/one-fantastic-summer
