Mending Kids - Hike 2 Mend 2025
An ongoing campaign honoring the journey that a parent takes to gain access to surgical care for their child. Join our hike for health equity, and help us raise awareness of health disparity everywhere.

The morning brings families, supporters, and neighbors together to honor the journeys parents undertake to access critical medical care for their children and to help more kids receive surgery. Since 2005, Mending Kids has helped nearly 6,000 children across 78 countries, including the United States, by mobilizing volunteer medical teams and building local capacity.

"Our Hike 2 Mend is more than just a hike - it's a way for our community to stand in solidarity with families everywhere who travel long distances and overcome countless obstacles to get their children the surgeries they need," said Isabelle Fox, Executive Director. "We are deeply grateful to the Conrad Family for their partnership in making this event possible."

In addition to global outreach, Mending Kids serves children at home. On Nov. 15, 2025, the organization will host its Hometown Mission, expanding access to essential dental and outpatient surgical care for underserved and special needs youth in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
