Intrepid Metals adds more mining claims as company looks to consolidate Corral Copper Project

Intrepid Metals Corp CEO Ken Brophy joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has been very busy looking to acquire land around its Corral Copper Project in Arizona. That includes a new acquisition of 22 unpatented lode mining claims from a local owner.

Brophy tells Proactive this now gives the company an additional 472.5 acres for a total land package of 8,972 acres. The company feels this project has potential to be district scale size and the area is ripe for exploration with historic drilling trenching, grab and chip sampling, mapping, geophysical surveys, and geochemical work done.

Although there is no 43-101 resource identified, Brophy said the data set will help the company identify areas of potential. He added that the Tombstone South project, which had an IP survey last year, will also be drilled later this year, and that Intrepid has another project in the state.
