Mr. Butler received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He later advanced his education further, earning a Master of Business Administration with a focus on international business, entrepreneurship and family enterprise from Louisiana State University. In 2005, Mr. Butler became a certified public accountant, receiving his certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. He is also currently licensed in the states of Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Colorado and Florida.
Mr. Butler has used his education and certification in various roles in the accounting industry which have provided him with the experience necessary to support the clients he serves. His areas of expertise include business and tax consulting, audits for various regulatory or compliance requirements, and the assessment of business risk with recommendations to improve business processes. Throughout his career, he has stepped into challenging positions in order to steadily rise to the level he has achieved as a resident partner at Banks, Finley, White & Co.
The Drive to Succeed

One of Mr. Butler's most significant accomplishments was participating with a select group of professionals to analyze the Certified Public Accountant exam (CPA) with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
As a family man, Mr. Butler is committed to generational growth, knowledge and wealth. In every endeavor, he has adhered to his guiding mantra and his faith in God. He says that he allows God to order his steps and feels he has always had a clear purpose in his career trajectory.
Taking on Risks
One important part of Mr. Butler's success has been his ability to take people at face value and meet them where they are. Because of his industry, he is firmly committed to a "trust and verify" strategy when conducting business. When he was invited to become a partner at Banks, Finley, White & Co., he was excited to once again take the risk and step up to the challenge of an amazing opportunity.

He believes in giving back to the community and serves as a volunteer youth mentor, football and wrestling coach, reflecting his belief in building the next generation.
