Alan Gaul, Vice President of Marketing, TASI (r) Bank
“We are proud of our long-standing affiliations and excited by our new relationship with Junior Achievement,” said Alan Gaul, TASI Bank Vice President of Marketing. “We recognize our responsibility to the community and are committed to fulfilling it at the highest level.”
TASI Bank’s 2025 Initiatives:
Bhartiya Mandal Foundation (BMF)
TASI Bank is a major corporate sponsor of BMF’s annual charity golf tournament, taking place August 4 at Navato’s Stonetree Golf Course. Since 1973, BMF has promoted cultural awareness and community service, raising over $400,000 annually for organizations such as the San Francisco/Marin Food Bank. “TASI Bank has been a primary supporter for a decade,” said BMF Board Chair Satish Patel.
Curry Senior Center
For the 16th consecutive year, TASI Bank will sponsor the Curry Senior Center’s annual fundraising gala. For over 50 years, the Center has provided holistic care to low-income and homeless seniors in San Francisco. “Our biggest fundraiser, the annual Black and White gala, raised over $130,000 in 2024,” said Shirley Quitugua, TASI Bank Vice President and Branch Manager, who also serves as Board President.
Good Shepherd Gracenter
Marking its 10th year of support, TASI Bank continues to sponsor the annual fundraising luncheon for Good Shepherd Gracenter, a residential addiction recovery facility for women in San Francisco. Since 1987, the Gracenter has offered transitional housing and a supportive community for women committed to sobriety.
Junior Achievement Job Shadow®
For the first time, TASI Bank partnered with Junior Achievement of Northern California (JA), which serves 163 schools and over 51,000 students, to provide financial literacy and banking skills. TASI Bank recently hosted Galileo High School students for a Job Shadow Day at its San Francisco branch. “Early exposure to financial literacy and banking is key to a young person’s growth,” said Gaul.
“We are grateful TASI provided the opportunity for students to learn about banking,” says Ruby Damian, executive director.
Peninsula Gujarati Association (PGA)
TASI Bank is an annual sponsor of the PGA’s golf tournament, the organization’s main fundraiser. With over 2,000 members, the PGA supports disaster relief, COVID-19 crisis response, and scholarship funding for underprivileged students.
“TASI has been a wonderful partner,” said PGA Board Member Vinay Patel.
“We’re dedicated to the well-being and advancement of the diverse communities,” said Gaul.
