Before embarking on his professional career path, Mr. Cota completed his undergraduate studies at San Diego State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Latin American studies. In pursuit of his academic endeavors, Mr. Cota enhanced his studies at the esteemed Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Cota has received awards, accolades and was recognized worldwide for his expertise in the Beverage industry. Mr. Cota was awarded the prestigious title of Top CEO of the Year by IAOTP in 2022 and was honored at the Bellagio hotel at IAOTP’s annual awards gala. This year, he will be recognized for his outstanding achievement of being included in the publication "50 Fearless Leaders" and for his selection for the Lifetime Achievement Award, at IAOTP's Annual Awards Gala, which will take place at the iconic Plaza Hotel in NYC this December.
Looking back, Mr. Cota attributes his success to his determination, his passion for excellence, and his unique understanding of the beverage production business. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling for beverage industry shows, and Mr. Cota is very active and involved with supporting young children’s education and helps pay for scholarships.
