Three people were injured Sunday when a fight broke out and shots were fired at Big Ed's restaurant off Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh.

<p>I'm Laura Levine here at the scene of this active investigation at Big Egg Country Cooking where you can see dozens of Raleigh police cruisers parked in this parking lot, as well as investigators at the scene, employees waiting outside beyond that yellow crime scene tape that now surrounds the business. All of this is in response to a shooting that happened around 11:49 this morning. Raleigh police says that they initially got that call. Around that time responding to reports of a shooting here right off the Falls of Noose Road. This is in response to a fight in progress at the time when they arrived here. They were able to confirm that a fight did occur and shots were fired. Two people were transported to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries as a result of the fight. One person was transported with a nonlife threatening grace injury. Now we're speaking to people here at the scene and many people who deny. Want to be on camera. Some who were inside this building when it all occurred ran out and ran for safety. Others who just live in this neighborhood and come here all the time. They tell us that it is really concerning to see this type of gun violence in their community at a restaurant that they frequent, especially on Mother's Day, a day that is supposed to be full of peace and love.
