An hours-long standoff between Raleigh police and a suspect ended Thursday morning after a stabbing at a Raleigh gas station.

I'M STANDING HERE ON MILLBROOK ROAD IN RALEIGH WHERE POLICE ARE TRYING TO GET A MAN WHO HAS BARRICADED HIMSELF IN AN APARTMENT TO COME OUT. THIS ALL HAPPENING AFTER A STABBING JUST DOWN THE STREET, ACTUALLY HEAR THE POLICE SPEAKING OVER AN INTERCOM PLEADING FOR HIM TO COME OUT. I WANT TO TAKE YOU TO SOME VIDEO SO YOU CAN SEE HOW THIS ALL BEGAN. ACCORDING TO RALEIGH POLICE, THIS STARTED AT A SHEETZ GAS STATION ON MILLBROOK GREEN DRIVE. WHEN THEY GOT THERE, THEY FOUND AN ADULT MALE WITH STAB WOUNDS. HE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WITH NON-LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES. NOT LONG AFTER THEY WERE ABLE TO PINPOINT A SUSPECT. IN THE END, THEY FOUND THAT SUSPECT HERE. TAKE YOU CLOSER TO THE APARTMENT COMPLEX. THIS IS MILLBROOK POINT APARTMENTS. THE SUSPECT HAS BARRICADED HIMSELF INSIDE OF ONE OF THOSE BUILDINGS. YOU CAN SEE JUST HOW LARGE THIS RESPONSES WHEN WE GOT HERE. WE SAW A LOT OF RALEIGH POLICE OFFICERS COMING OUT OF THEIR CARS WITH SOME VERY LARGE GUNS. THERE'S A SWAB PEOPLE HERE AND THERE ARE ALSO NEW NUMEROUS NEIGHBORS THAT ARE ABLE TO GET INTO THEIR APARTMENTS DUE TO THIS WHOLE SCENE.
