Warmer weather arrives ahead of next cold front, rain chance

I'm meteorologist Chris Michaels. Happy Sunday. Today and tomorrow, warmer than the past few days in terms of the afternoon. A lot of us between 79 and 83 for highs, but as you head into the sandhills, naturally one of the warmer spots, you'll be in the mid 80s. This warm up coming ahead of our next front, you see that, uh, marching in out of the west. It's gonna increase some rain chances for us. As we head into Wednesday, scattered to at times numerous showers and storms, probably not a widespread soaking, but overall rain totals about a quarter of an inch to 0.5 inch farther to the north, and higher totals as you head farther south of the triangle. Wind gusts by Thursday, 20 to 25 MPH, will be cooler heading into Thursday and Friday.
