<p>Hello everyone. I'm meteorologist Mike Mays in the WRL Severe Weather Center with forecast update for this Thursday night. Tomorrow's Halloween, and then we have the weekend, and it looks like we have some delightful weather to look forward to. Now we had our cold front come on by last night. We saw the return of the sunshine today. Tomorrow morning will be cooler as we start Halloween, 42 at Roxboro to 45 in Raleigh, 46 in Goldsboro, 45 in Fayetteville. So you will need a heavier jacket in the morning compared to what you wore this morning. The morning low out at RDU this morning was about 56, I believe. So take a look at your bus stop forecast. It'll be 45 at 6, 45 at 8. By 10 a.m. we're up to about 52. Now, the winds do pick up tomorrow and it could be rather wind breezy, if not windy. And our hour by hour forecast by lunchtime, we're about 59. Our high 64, that's what we had today, should not see any cloud cover like we did today, or at least to that extent, but it will be breezy tomorrow and heading into the evening, it will be rather chilly for trick or treating. Once the sun sets, the winds should die down somewhat. And since the air is so dry, temperatures will cool off quickly. If you're an early trick or treater and you like doing it with the sunlight, 63 at 5, 61 by 6, if you like your little trick or treatings a little spookier, uh, by 7 o'clock we're 5855 at 8, 53 by 9 o'clock. So it'll be rather cool. Make sure you are dressed warmly and make sure you have a flashlight, maybe some glow sticks, so you'll be able to be seen as you're out trick or treating. So for the day tomorrow overall cold at Boone, 46, 67 in Wilmington and Fayetteville, 65 at Rocky Mount. The winds from the west about 10 to maybe 20 MPH, and then heading into the weekend with the air being so dry, it will be cold in the mornings. Here in the triangle we expect about 39, but some of the cooler rural locations could be in the low to mid-30s. That means there could be a light scattered frost both mornings because I think both mornings those winds will be on the light side. Later in the afternoon, Saturday will be mostly sunny 65, partly to May. Mostly cloudy on Sunday. We're going to go about 66, but if there tends to be more cloud cover, maybe a little bit cooler, we may be 63 or 64, and then Sunday night we have about a 30% chance of rain. That is not set in stone. Yesterday, the American model and the European model both agreed there would be rain. Today, the European model backs out. There's no rain on the European model, so we're just going to go with the American and keep a 30% chance of rain. We'll see in tomorrow's forecast if the rain reappears on the European model. So cooler tonight, Lowes will be in the low to mid-40s, 45 in Raleigh, 45 in Goldsboro, 44 at Rocky Mount, mostly clear sky, breezy and comfortable for your Halloween. 63 in Roxborough, 67 in Fayetteville. A delightful weekend is ahead. We have that little rain chances Sunday night and Monday, and then after that, it looks completely dry for next week. That's our forecast update.
