POLICE SAY THEY WENT TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD FOR A STOLEN CAR INVESTIGATION. THEY SAY AN AGGRESSIVE DOG CHARGED AT THE OFFICER. THEN THE OFFICER SHOT AND KILLED HIM. HE WAS JUST JUST A NICE THOUGHT. WE THOUGHT COULD NEVER HURT ANYBODY. FAMILY SAYS THEY TRAINED THE DOG TO PLAY IN THE YARD. OFF-LEASH. IT'S A HEAVY CHRISTMAS FOR THIS FAMILY. According to Raleigh police officers, the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Capital Boulevard near Trawick Road.
