<p>Hi, everyone. Happy Friday. Meteorologist Anthony Baglione here with our latest update on the storm Prediction Center's risk for some strong to severe storms. What I will say is the majority of us are not gonna see severe storms today. But you notice, including the triangle, and then especially as you get closer toward the Outer Banks, where you see the yellow, that would be the greatest risk for some strong storms, where the green is outlined would be some relatively spotty coverage. I'll tell you why that is. Let's go here on Futurecast, we go through today. Again, the majority of us probably won't see much as far as the coverage is concerned this afternoon. There is lunchtime, you notice up into Virginia though, some of those spotty storms, if we see anything with this cold front that's gonna come through, it would be during the afternoon into the evening. This latest model though has nothing. So, I don't know that we'll be quite that dry, but the majority of us are gonna stay pretty dry. It's any cells that try and bubble up that could be a little bit stronger. I would not cancel dinner plans if you're headed out for a walk, get your steps in, I wouldn't cancel that today. We get to tomorrow morning, could be a little bit of cloud cover, but our weekend starts off really good, no problems. 74 tomorrow, 73 on Sunday for Mother's Day, could see still some showers and thunderstorms to close out the weekend.</p>
