According to the Clayoton Police Department, officers responded to a shots fired call around 3 a.m. in the area of Pond Street and Durham Street. Shortly after, they responded to another call at East Joyner Street.

NOW, AUTHORITIES TOLD WRAL THAT THEY'RE TREATING BOTH SCENES AS IF THEY'RE CONNECTED, BUT IT'S STILL TOO EARLY TO KNOW THAT FOR SURE. AS FAR AS THE SCENE ON EAST JOYNER STREET, WE SAW CRIME SCENE TAPE ACROSS 2 DIFFERENT HOUSES. THAT SCENE IS ACTUALLY NOW CLEAR. AUTHORITIES AND ONE VICTIM HAS LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES AND THE OTHER NON LIFE-THREATENING.
