Hundreds of thousands of people in western North Carolina are still without power and basic needs for survival. Some areas are underwater, leaving hundreds of roads closed and residents trapped.

THE REASON WE'RE LIVE RIGHT HERE, THIS TOWN, POLICE SUITES IN ASHEVILLE OFF OF I-240, IT'S BECAUSE IT'S LITERALLY THE ONLY PLACE OR CREW HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIND RELIABLE CELL SERVICE IN THE CITY.
