Multiple counties are under a flood advisory and flash flood warnings Wednesday night as we brace for multiple washouts to close the week.

<p>Good evening. I'm meteorologist K Campbell in the wr a severe weather center. 97. The high at RDU 95 degrees in Fayetteville today. It was another hot one out there. Fayetteville got to see some decent rain though. At least you cooled off a little bit there after the mid nineties. But we're headed back below normal for temperatures soon. 91 is the normal high this time of year. That's our high for Thursday after that, some eighties on the way for the weekend, highs near 90 next week. But we've got this, we've spent so many days in the mid to upper nineties and even triple digits that the low nineties will feel more tolerable outside. A cold front is coming. It arrives tomorrow and that's what's going to change things. It'll bring more clouds, but probably not until the afternoon. So let's talk about the overnight hours. We could see some scattered storms move through through about midnight or so. Even early tomorrow morning, there could be a little rain as you are waking. So check in with meteorologist, Anthony Baglione before you leave the house. But much higher rain chances come during the afternoon. And those are even more widespread during the evening. So as we get toward five to about 10 o'clock at night, that's going to be our best chance for rain. Thursday. We've got a 70% chance. The flooding risk will be highest from Raleigh Fayetteville points east a little bit lower of a risk in our western counties. But our rainfall totals just for the day, tomorrow should be between about a quarter of an inch to an inch of rain. So it's looking like a decent amount for just one day, especially given that we have several days with storm chances coming our way. In fact, there's at least a chance for rain each day on the seven day forecast. Some days that chance will be a little higher than others each day. This weekend features some rain on the radar and some thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and evening. High temperatures in the eighties. It will be part to mostly cloudy over the weekend. My suggestion is to make your outdoor plans as early in the day as possible over the weekend. That's when rain chances are lowest and that's when temperatures are lowest as well over the next seven days, we are likely to warm back up into the nineties next week. But again, high temperatures are going to be closer to 90 than they will be to 100. We've got decent storm chances each day and more clouds on the way through next week as Well.</p>
