THEY DID WITHOUT LIGHTS, AIR CONDITIONING AND OTHER NECESSITIES SINCE THE STORM SATURDAY WRL'S KELSEY COFFEY IS LIVE IN AND FEEL KELSEY. THE TOWN IS WORKING TO HELP PEOPLE GET THROUGH THIS. >> YESTERDAY, THIS IS DAY 4 IN THE DARK HERE IN DOWNTOWN INFIELD. AND THERE ARE SEVERAL BUSINESSES DOWNTOWN THAT HAVE SIGNS LIKE THIS ONE THAT SAY THEY'LL BE ABLE TO REOPEN ONCE POWER IS RESTORED, BUT THE POWER COULD TURN BACK ON AS EARLY AS THIS MORNING. HOWEVER, THERE STILL A CHANCE THAT THE POWER MAY NOT COME BACK ON UNTIL THIS AFTERNOON OR MAYBE EVEN LATER NEIGHBOR STUCK WITHOUT AC IN SWELTERING HEAT. THE HEAT INDEX HAS BEEN AT LEAST 100 DEGREES SINCE THE TOWN WENT DARK ON SATURDAY. INFIELD MAYOR MONDALE ROBINSON DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY YESTERDAY. HE SAYS THE POWER ISSUES GO BACK TO SATURDAY STORM AND A CASCADE OF PROBLEMS THAT NOT ONLY KNOCKED OUT IN FIELDS, OUTDATED GRID. IT ALSO BLEW REPLACEMENT PARTS BROUGHT IN TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE MAYOR NOW CALLING ON THE FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS TO HELP INFIELD REBUILD ITS GRID.
