According to the National Weather Service, several downed trees were reported in Willow Spring, and several viewers told WRAL News they saw multiple downed trees along Interstate 40 between Raleigh and Benson.

T REPRESENTATIVE SAID AS FAR AS THEY KNEW THAT LINE OF TREES DOWN ON I-40 WAS THE WORST DAMAGE ON MAIN ROADS THEY HAD SEEN FROM STORMS THIS AFTERNOON.
