Deputies said 42-year-old Ryan Odwyer called 911 around 3:31 a.m. and told dispatchers his friend, 30-year-old Cody Mannes, had fallen off of his boat and was missing in the lake's waters. According to Odwyer, he jumped into the water to help Mannes while his boat drifted away with his dog still on it.
