After escaping from the C.A. Dillon Youth Development Center in Butner, 17-year-old Zane Cesnik was taken into custody Monday around 10:05 p.m. at the intersection of Range Road and Roberts Chapel Road in Granville County.

AND KELSEY, WE'RE EXPECTING TO GET AN UPDATE LATER TODAY ON HOW THIS HAPPENED. WHAT HAPPENED TO US? &gt;&gt; MICHELLE, WE WERE ABLE TO CONFIRM WITHIN THE LAST 10 MINUTES THAT WE SHOULD RECEIVE AN UPDATE HERE TO GRANVILLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. &gt;&gt; THE NUMBER ONE QUESTION WE'RE ASKING THIS MORNING IS HOW WAS HE ABLE TO ESCAPE? HE WAS FOUND AT THE INTERSECTION OF RANGE ROAD IN ROBERTS, CHAPEL ROAD IN BUTNER. THAT'S LESS THAN 10 MINUTES AWAY FROM THAT DEAL IN A JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER WHERE HE WAS IN CUSTODY. HE WAS INDICTED LAST YEAR ON MURDER CHARGES. HE'S ACCUSED OF KILLING A 71 YEAR-OLD MAN SKY 5 FLEW OVER THE DETENTION CENTER YESTERDAY AS INVESTIGATORS SEARCH FOR SAYS THAT 3 LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES WERE WORKING TO FIND HIM. WRAL REACHED OUT TO HIS FAMILY YESTERDAY. THEY DIDN'T WANT TO COMMENT THAT HE WAS FOUND ONLY A FEW MINUTES AWAY FROM THE DETENTION CENTER. WE'RE WORKING TO FIND OUT IF HE ESCAPED ON FOOT OR HE WAS ABLE TO GET INTO A CAR WILL BE SURE TO BE AT A NEWS CONFERENCE THAT'S SCHEDULED FOR TODAY AT 3 O'CLOCK KELCEY COFFEE.</p>
