Authorities are investigating a sign that a hate group hung up at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham on Saturday. Signs from Patriot Front were also posted in various areas around downtown Durham.

PATRIOT FRONT IS CLASSIFIED BY SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS AS A WHITE NATIONALIST HATE GROUP, AMERICAN TOBACCO, WHICH IS OWNED BY WRAL'S PARENT COMPANY CAPITAL BROADCASTING, CAPTURED THESE PHOTOS SHOWING THE PEOPLE THEY BELIEVE HUNG THE SIGN ON THE BUILDING IN A STATEMENT, THE CAMPUS GENERAL MANAGER SAID OUR TEAM WAS ALERTED TO A DISTURBING BANNER WITH MESSAGING LINKED TO AN EXTREMIST HATE GROUP DISPLAYED ON THE SOUT DEC. IT HAS BEEN REMOVED.
