L'S WEBSITE, STUDENTS AND WELCOME COUNTY HAVE BEEN OUT OF SCHOOL NOW FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS DUE TO THE DAMAGE FROM HELENE, THE DISTRICT RECENTLY COME FROM 4 STUDENTS HAVE TRAGICALLY LOST THEIR LIVES FROM THE STORM AND MANY FAMILIES RELOCATED TO THE TRIANGLE AS RECOVERY EFFORTS IN THEIR HOMETOWNS UNDER WAY. WAS SUPER SURREAL. JUST SEEING MY HOME JUST IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAY. IT'S ALMOST LIKE THE END OF THE WORLD.
