Tom McCabe carries more than 30 years of global financial experience, including senior leadership roles across the US, Europe, and Asia. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer for the Americas at DBS Bank, a role he held for 11 years before retiring in 2025. Earlier in his career he served as the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank in South Korea, where he led the US$3.3 billion acquisition of Korea First Bank.

Over the course of his career, McCabe has served on a number of boards, including Chairman of the Board of AXS Pte, Non-Executive Director of Travelex Holdings Ltd and Merchant Solutions. In 2006 he was invited to join the Global Advisory Board of the University of Chicagoโ€™s Graduate School of Business. In addition to his board roles, he has been a frequent lecturer at USCโ€™s Marshall School of Business, Stanford University, San Jose State University, and the University of Chicagoโ€™s Booth School of Business. He currently serves on the board of โ€œA Place Called Homeโ€, a Los Angeles-based Non-Profit supporting underprivileged children and low-income families.
