Experiential Learning at the Core
The year began with a series of immersive experiences that gave agents direct exposure to the destinations and products they sell:
• In January, Dugan's hosted a Virgin Voyages Seminar at Sea aboard the Valiant Lady, which also included a hotel inspection in Key West, allowing agents to gain first-hand experience with both cruise and land-based travel products.
• In February, advisors participated in an Oahu and Maui FAM, exploring Hawaii's top resorts and learning how to effectively sell multi-island itineraries.
• April featured two back-to-back seminar-at-sea events:
Aboard the Celebrity Silhouette, agents took part in learning about Celebrity Cruise Line and conducted a hotel inspection in Key West.
Immediately following, agents joined a Royal Caribbean sailing, focusing on family cruise sales and experiencing an exclusive site visit to Sandals Royal Bahamian.
A Powerful Second Half of the Year
• DU Seattle, taking place in July, will include ship inspections of the Celebrity Edge, Royal Princess, and Norwegian Encore, plus advisor networking and small-group supplier sessions.
• DU Anaheim, scheduled for September, is Dugan's signature multi-day training event. Highlights include interactive supplier workshops, a dynamic trade show, and a fun social event hosted by Sandals Resorts.
In October, a select group of advisors will participate in the Ireland FAM with Globus, combining cultural exploration with product training designed to boost sales of escorted European tours.
