ePropelled Opens Doors to New Laconia, NH Factory

Political leaders, global diplomats and others got a sneak peek of new production line

LACONIA, NH / ACCESS Newswire / September 17, 2025 / ePropelled recently opened its doors to an influential group of attendees, including representatives from New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte, Senator's Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan, Congressman Chris Pappas and Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander's offices. Representing the United Kingdom was David Clay, British Consul General to New England.RareEarthGluing

ePropelled designs and delivers state-of-the-art motors, generators, and power management systems for all varieties of uncrewed vehicles. A proclamation read on behalf of Governor Ayotte praised ePropelled for its groundbreaking work in advanced propulsion technology, its commitment to U.S. defense readiness, and its leadership in building a high-tech future in the Granite State.

The event marked the expansion of ePropelled's Laconia-based manufacturing operations facility. The company's current 12,000-square-foot facility will soon double in size, growing to 24,000 square feet.

The expansion comes on the heels of President Trump's newly signed executive order prioritizing U.S.-made drone components and accelerating FAA approvals, reducing the country's reliance on Chinese suppliers. This year, ePropelled will produce more than 25,000 motors and anticipates scaling production to producing 300,000 within one year.

At the event, CEO Nick Grewal emphasized ePropelled's investment in people and projected job growth of 350 positions. "At ePropelled, we're proud to play a leading role in America's drive for drone dominance," said Grewal. "Just last year, 90% of our revenue came from Ukraine, but today almost 100% is coming from the U.S. as we dramatically scale production. As the only U.S.-based company shipping drone motors, we anticipate delivering more than a million units annually by 2027."

In addition to a facility tour, attendees mingled with ePropelled's executive team and saw first-hand the production line, where staff were turning out propulsion systems. The global unmanned vehicle (UAV, UGV, USV) propulsion systems market is expected to grow to more than $100 billion by 2030 and ePropelled's expansion helps position the company to play a larger role in this global growth.

Grewal noted that by the end of 2026, the Laconia facility may need to expand three- to four-fold, and by 2027, ePropelled aims to produce more than one million motors annually.
