Chris Cartrett to Succeed Deane Price as CEO in January 2022

Aderant®, a leading global business management software provider for law firms, has announced that CEO Deane Price will be leaving Aderant to pursue other opportunities within Roper Technologies, Aderant’s parent company. Chris Cartrett, promoted to President of Aderant as of July 1^st, will succeed Price as Aderant’s CEO in January 2022.

Price’s tenure at Aderant began a decade ago when she accepted the role of CFO, and then moved into the COO position in 2014. She was promoted to CEO in 2017 and in the five years that followed, the company saw significant growth across multiple product lines.

Price oversaw multiple acquisitions during her decade of executive level leadership at Aderant. A single-product company when she joined in 2011 (Expert practice management system), Aderant has expanded its product portfolio to cover a wide-spectrum of legal business needs.

After many years at Thomson Reuters, Chris Cartrett joined Aderant in 2014 as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Growth, was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2017, and President in July 2021.
