Life Sciences BC Board of Directors Announcement

Following a well-attended AGM, Life Sciences BC is pleased to announce new Board of Directors members, with thanks to those who are departing.

At today’s AGM, Max Blouw (President, Research Universities Council of British Columbia), Kevin Chaplin (CEO, Kardium), Bob Dawson (National Director, Access and Government Relations, Pfizer), and Wendy Hurlburt (President and CEO, Life Sciences BC), were elected to the Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Also at today’s AGM, former Board Chair, Nancy Harrison and Dr. Gavin Stuart, who have both made significant contributions to the organization and its overall management in the last several years, left the Board of Directors. Life Sciences BC thanks Nancy and Gavin, both longstanding Board members, for their years of leadership and looks forward to their continuing leadership in the BC life sciences sector.

At today’s Board of Directors meeting, it was announced that Scott Phillips will continue as Chair, Board of Directors with Ali Ardakani remaining as Vice Chair. Rajveer Hundal will stay on as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.
