For the first time, CORT received the Altair Humanitarian Commitment Award for its Outstanding Philanthropic Efforts

CORT, the nation’s leading provider of furniture rental and destination services, received the 2023 Super Star Award for Humanitarian Commitment from Altair Global for the company’s exceptional efforts in addressing global challenges and promoting human dignity through impactful programs and practices that benefit marginalized communities.

CORT has proudly collaborated with several impactful organizations to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Since 2012, CORT has partnered with the Folds of Honor Foundation, supporting their mission to provide scholarships and tuition assistance to the families of fallen or severely disabled service members. Additionally, CORT has joined forces with Entryway, assisting individuals transitioning out of homelessness by providing essential furnishings and housewares. Lastly, CORT has worked alongside Move For Hunger since 2018 as part of their shared commitment to reducing food waste and fighting hunger in the United States and Canada.

Through these partnerships, CORT’s contributions have resulted in:

• Folds of Honor: $425,000 donated, which is the equivalent of 85 scholarships awarded.
• Entryway: More than $260,000 worth of furnishings and housewares donations benefitting 98 people since 2017.
• Move For Hunger: 91,321 pounds of food transported to local food banks in 2022 alone, offering over 76,000 meals to those facing food insecurity.
