The Standard Promotes Dickson Kasamale to Second Vice President of IT Finance and Analytics

Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) announced today that Dickson Kasamale has been promoted to second vice president of IT Finance and Analytics in Corporate Finance and Accounting.

Kasamale joined The Standard in 2019 as senior director of IT Finance. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years in financial leadership, planning and analyst roles at Health Care Service Corporation, Morningstar, McDonald’s and HBR Consulting. He started his career in a hybrid finance and technology role supporting the global services division at IBM.

Since joining The Standard, Kasamale has been a member of the IT management committee. He has also partnered with our IT and business leaders to enable operational insights critical to investment prioritization, strategy alignment and target attainment. Kasamale has successfully deployed Apptio analytics and financial governance solutions to significantly improve IT planning and cost transparency.

Kasamale earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from The State University of New York. He is also a co-chair on technology business management adoption and maturity strategy for the Technology Business Management Council, a nonprofit professional organization dedicated to advancing TBM through education, standards and collaboration.
