Karin started at The Standard in 2010 as director of business finance in Retirement Plans before moving to Employee Benefits to lead the business finance and operations teams. In 2019, Holsinger moved to Corporate Finance and Accounting on an interim assignment to support change management. In her most recent role as senior director, she was responsible for overseeing the Finance Transformation and Operations teams, including Financial Systems and Innovations, Payroll and Quality Assurance functions.

While continuing to manage these teams, in her new role Karin will facilitate cross-functional collaboration by all finance executives to ensure effective information and resource sharing. She will continue to be at the forefront of our improvement goals, overseeing and managing key sourcing vendors and serving as a consultant and advisor to the entire Corporate Finance and Accounting executive team.

“Karin is an action-oriented leader and strategic thinker,” said Rob Erickson, vice president, chief accounting officer and treasurer at The Standard. “I’m excited to have her take on these new responsibilities and look forward to having her strong voice leading our operations.”

Prior to joining The Standard, Holsinger worked nearly 20 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Cambia Health Solutions, where she held various finance and accounting leadership roles. She graduated from Linfield University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
