Patricia Menéndez Cambó joins I Squared Capital from SoftBank Group, where she served as Managing Partner and Deputy General Counsel. She was also a Board Member and General Counsel of the SoftBank Latin America Fund and SB Opportunity Fund, and a member of the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee of SBLA, a registered investment advisor.

Prior to her tenure at SoftBank, Patricia was the Vice Chair of Greenberg Traurig and a member of the Executive Committee. During her time at Greenberg Traurig, she held numerous practice leadership positions. Her extensive experience also includes serving as Subdirector General for Telefonica S.A., where she was a member of the Board of Directors and General Counsel to several of Telefonica’s global new technology subsidiaries.

Patricia has been a strategic advisor and is actively involved in several boards, including Expedia Group where she is a member of the audit committee, the Latam Strategic Advisory Board of Itaú Unibanco, the Advisory Board of the Woodrow Wilson Center/Latin American Program, and the Americas Society/Council of the Americas. She also serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Board of Trustees for The University of Miami.

Bill Campbell, who has held the role of General Counsel at I Squared for over a decade will take on a new role as Senior Counsel for Strategic Affairs. Bill’s role will now focus on I Squared’s various relationships with governments and multi-lateral development institutions around the world. He will continue to report directly to the Chairman of I Squared and will also continue to advise investment teams on certain key transactions.
